The Park's mission is to help
"cultivate beauty" through the revival of agriculture, the consolidation of twinning with other national parks, the increase of a circular economy, the definition of a park plan that sees the presence of young people, the subscription of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism, the enhancement of biodiversity, in collaboration with Universities and Research Centres.
Pantelleria must safeguard its heritage, which is currently at the centre of international attention, as demonstrated by the two UNESCO awards for sapling vines and dry-stone walls. The Park wants to plan targeted actions so as to follow a well-organized growth path, capable of exploiting education and financial resources dedicated to the environmental sector.
